Sandeep has invested 28 years in advertising as a digital pioneer, including 20 in Malaysia. He’s fought in the Cola Wars, co-founded a start-up digital agency in India which he sold to WPP (Ogilvy), run award-winning creative and media agencies in Malaysia (XM Malaysia, Zenith) and is co-founder and CEO of Ampersand Advisory, a new media and data consultancy. Ampersand Advisory has won over 250 awards and was #1 at 7 different award shows in 2024. The agency has also won Campaign Global Media Agency of the Year 2023 and Campaign Independent Agency of the Year from 2019-2023. Ampersand was honoured as Financial Times Statista 500 High Growth Companies Asia Pacific for 2023 and 2024. Sandeep is a long-standing writer and columnist in the space of marketing and advertising, and a speaker at industry events. He enjoys the adrenaline of unpredictability created by the pervasive digitization and flux of the economy. In his spare time, he is also a filmmaker who has written and directed over 20 documentaries, corporate film and 2 feature-length films. He is passionate about Manchester United, The Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt and reads widely.

Jo Yau, the newly appointed Group CEO of Invictus Blue Group, brings over 24 years of diverse expertise across media, integrated agencies, creative agencies, and FinTech startups. With a track record of success managing blue-chip brands like Maybank Group, TM, and HSBC, Emirates, she’s known for her client-focused approach and commitment to innovation. Jo’s leadership at Grey led to prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions. At Malacca Securities Group, she spearheaded significant milestones and launched Malaysia’s first Financial Planning App, promoting financial literacy. Jo’s appointment signifies Invictus Blue’s commitment to transformation and tech-focus, underlining her role in leading the company into its next chapter of growth and innovation.

David has over 26 years’ experience in the marketing communications field across a wide spectrum of international and local brands in automotive, CPG, Telco and Finance to name a few. He currently heads up PHD Malaysia. Prior to this, David ran creative agencies for more than a decade. Having managed both creative and media agencies, he truly appreciates the power of integrated communications where brands harness the power of both cut-through creativity powered by effective media innovation and efficiencies.
