Kuala Lumpur,5th October 2026 — The Media Specialists Association (MSA) is pleased to
announce the election of Bala Pomaleh, CEO, Media, dentsu Malaysia (first on the right), as its newly elected
President, and Ms Kristine Ong, CEO of Publicis Media (second from the right), as its Vice President at the Association’s
Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 1st October 2026.

priority is to make media matter more — by giving our members a stronger voice and greater
visibility, building a future-ready talent pipeline with higher learning institutions and strengthening

association; we want it to be a catalyst for the growth of our profession and a trusted partner for
clients. By developing better talent, raising professional standards and demonstrating the value
of media, we can help clients achieve more effective, innovative and accountable outcomes while

In addition to Bala and Kristine, the newly elected office bearers include Fan Chen Yip, Executive
Director of Yellow Paper Plane, as Secretary and Vanitha Selvathurai, Vice President, Client at
WPP Media, as Treasurer. The Council is represented by local and international agencies:
Ampersand Advisory, Invictus Blue, iProspect Malaysia, Mindshare, PHD Media, OMD, Trapper
and Zenith.
